Directions: Situated on the A12 southbound, just south of the bridge - follow the signs for South Beach or alternatively follow the signs for Tourist Information Centre.
The East Point Pavilion is an impressive glass structure, styled on an Edwardian Pavilion, which overlooks Lowestoft's award winning South Beach and offers an exciting range of services and facilities.
Tourist Information Centre:
The Tourist Information Centre will be able to assist you in planning your leisure time and will give you advice and information on a whole range of services and facilities on offer, both locally and nationally. With support from East of England Tourism and Visit Britain, our friendly team of information staff are able to provide a comprehensive range of services which include information on local, regional and national attractions, information on local and regional events, local, regional and national accommodation booking, travel information and route planning, local theatre information, and an extensive selection of free information leaflets and literature.
Our information service is complemented by a wide range of guides, books and maps available for sale, plus some unusual souvenirs and locally produced gifts by which to remember you visit to Lowestoft. The Tourist Information also sells tickets for Southern Belle River Trips and Pettitts, with discounted tickets available for Pleasurewood Hills.

Southwold Tourist Information Centre:
Southwold Tourist Information is conveniently situated in the middle of Southwold's busy High Street. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to provide you with information to help you plan your holiday, assist with accommodation enquiries and bookings, and give you ideas as to what to do whilst on holiday.
We have can provide you with information on our locality and points of interest, as well as local events and activities. We have a wide range of information regarding local attractions including the Southwold Lighthouse, Southwold Maize Maze and Southwold Pier, but also some attractions slightly further a field that may interest you in a day trip.
At Southwold Tourist Information, we can held you plan a journey as we hold information on travel and transport both locally and nationally. We are a ticket agent for National Express coaches and we also sell tickets for the 'Waverley' and 'Balmoral' Steamers when they sail from Southwold to London.
We have a good range of books and maps of the local area and a selection of souvenirs and gifts to remind you of your visit to Southwold. We stock the Wilfred George range of footpath maps, not to mention numerous books on walking in the local area.
During the Summer months we are hosts to the booking office of the Southwold Summer Theatre and from October to December we have a branch of the multi-charity Christmas Card Shop 'Cards for Good Causes' with us.
