2009 Lowestoft Journal Sunrise Coast Tourism Awards
The Sunrise Coast Tourism Awards are designed to recognise and reward achievements made by the tourism industry on the Sunrise Coast.
Businesses and organisations are nominated for awards through an eight-week campaign in the Local newspapers (Lowestoft & Southwold Journal and Beccles & Bungay Journal) and online through www.visit-sunrisecoast.co.uk
2 finalists are selected in each category by the judging panel (made up from the Waveney Tourism Forum and the Local newspapers), with each finalist receiving a inspection visit.
The Awards criteria includes, range of services on offer, commitment to promoting the area, sustainability and customer’s services.
The winners of the awards were announced at the awards ceremony on the 24th November 2009.
