Cycling around the Sunrise Coast and the Waveney Valley

With East Anglia and the Sunrise Coast renowned for being flat, this part of the country provides some excellent cycling through miles of wonderful scenery including rides along the coast or through the countryside.

Whether you are a cycle enthusiast or just want to enjoy a leisurely ride you won’t be able to wait to jump on your bike and start exploring the area.

Cycle Routes

Our cycle routes take you through some spectacular views of the area whilst taking in some attractions and interesting places along the way.

Cycling in Town

Visit the cycle friendly towns of Lowestoft and Beccles and follow the network of cycle paths into the town centre.

National & Regional Cycle Routes

The Sustrans flagship project is the National Cycle Network, a network of cycle paths passing throughout the UK. The National Cycle Route 1 passes through the area along with routes 30 & 31.
